Was having a hard time connecting them to the Good Home app directly, and when I did, they often stopped responding. If the Google Home app can't find your bulb or plug during set up
If you"re still unable to resolve the issue, share feedback about your speaker, display or the Google Home app. Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup. If the first reset sequence doesn’t work, it means you have an older firmware version and will need to use the second reset sequence. I tried troubleshooting everything I could. What is listening on port 5000? I am running the smart device access from Google but I am assuming that is now different than when you posted this. I just got a C by GE smart plug with a nest mini bundle and I want to see if I can control it in HA. Connecting Your
Delete the device from the Cync app. This action also factory resets the device. If the factory reset is successful, the bulb you’re about to set up should blink 3 times or the plug light should blink blue. Now they're all working, but I'm having a hard time linking my C by GE app to my Google Home app. I go into the linked services page and login and it says link successful, but then doesn't show C by GE under linked services. Light's also not showing up in Google Home.

Unlink your Cync (C by GE) device(s) from the Home app
Even better, if the light is in the same room as your Google Home speaker, you won't need to name it. It could be any command that the Google home can understand…except calling routines, that does not seem to work as well. Adding other C by GE light bulbs can be done through the exact same way as before. Just make sure as you add bulbs, to name them so that Google Assistant can know which light to operate when you ask.

You might have too many Cync devices in one Home app home. You can add up to 6 Cync devices per Google Assistant device in your home. You might not be a member of the home that the Cync device was set up in.
Change a device’s room
GE Lighting, a Savant company products are only intended for use within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. Cync or C by GE Smart Bulbs, Strips, and Plugs can be set up directly with Google devices. Enter your ZIP Code for the most up-to-date appliance inventory available for delivery in your area. I think that the issue is with Google home and web signin, and redirecting. It seems to be getting stuck there.

The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. You might need to analyze the code and adopt to you needs. I then just created a switch that sends the command that I want with the code above. Basically it just pretends like I actually said the command to my Google home. It works, but it ain’t elegant. Turn the bulb or plug off and on. The device takes up to one minute after it receives power to reconnect to your speaker or display. Try your light or plug and check if it works. If the bulb or plug light doesn’t blink, it means you need to factory reset each bulbor plug manually. Note that the reset sequence is different depending on your device’s firmware version.
Set up Cync (C by GE) devices in the Google Home app
Automation triggers when slider is changed, takes input of the slider and sends command to Google Assist relay to change to x brightness. Not sure if you are asking me. If so, it does not support switch yet since I don’t have a dimmer switch.
